Question:231 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Education and Science the help which is available for an eight year old with special needs, who has recently moved here; the help available from his Department and other agencies. [3837/02]

Details of the range of supports provided by my Department to assist special needs pupils in primary schools were outlined to the Deputy in a Parliamentary Question on Tuesday, 5 February 2002.
Should the Deputy wish to provide my Department with details of the special needs of the child in question, my officials will be happy to outline the services available to the child from my Department in this specific case.
