Seymour Crawford

Question:

427 Mr. Crawford asked the Minister for Education and Science the progress regarding the provision of a new school to replace St. Mary's national school, Rockcorry, County Monaghan; if his attention has been drawn to the difficulty in getting acceptance of a site which will satisfy his Department; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [5442/02]

The property management section of the Office of Public Works is acting on behalf of my Department in relation to site acquisitions generally and is currently exploring the possibility of acquiring a site for St. Mary's national school, Rockcorry. As soon as a report is received the matter will be given further attention.
