231 Mr. O'Shea asked the Minister for Education and Science if, further to Parliamentary Question No. 489 of 20 November 2001, he will outline the position regarding the provision being made for the needs of this person; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [6048/02]

In addition to the support services previously indicated to the Deputy, my Department has allocated four hours per week resource teaching support for the child in question. The school authorities were notified of this allocation in November, 2001.
