Vol. 550 No. 2

Written Answers. - Grant Payments.

Bernard J. Durkan

Question:

204 Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Rural Development if he will review the refusal of heifer/cow premia for 1990 in the case of a person (details supplied) in County Kildare; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [8279/02]

As stated in my reply to your Parliamentary Question on 26 January 2000, my Department's records indicate that the person named was paid on 44 animals under the 1990 suckler cow premium scheme. I have no plans to have the case further reviewed.

Michael Moynihan

Question:

205 Mr. M. Moynihan asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Rural Development when the 2001 area based headage scheme payments will be made to a person (details supplied) in County Cork. [8283/02]

One of the parcels claimed by the person named in his 2001 area aid application overlaps with a parcel of land claimed by another applicant. The person named was contacted in this regard and in his reply clarified the position by including a map showing the correct position. This information is now being entered on to the Department's electronic database. When this is completed any payments due will issue.
