Cork County Council, the relevant grant awarding body, in the case of the student referred to by the Deputy, forwarded a query to my Department concerning the calculation of reckonable income for grant purposes in this case. The matter was referred for professional accounting advice within my Department and a response issued, on 28 February 2002, to Cork County Council, which will be in contact with the student concerned.
