My Department has received an application from the authorities of the school referred to by the Deputy for a new school building on a greenfield site. Work is also proceeding on the acquisition of sites for a further 60 new primary schools.

My Department will give detailed consideration to the application for a new school building from the school referred to by the Deputy, as soon as possible, under the expanded building programme. The school authorities will be kept informed of developments.
