185 Ms Shortall asked the Minister for Education and Science if his attention has been drawn to the concerns of the parents of a person (details supplied) in Dublin 15 at the proposals to change the emphasis in the DEC section of St. Vincent de Paul School, Navan Road, Dublin 7 from nursing to education; the plans for the centre; the implications of this change for the person concerned; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I have asked my Department to make urgent inquiries regarding the issue raised by the Deputy with a view to addressing the concerns to which she refers. I will advise the Deputy of the outcome as soon as possible.
