Vol. 551 No. 3

Written Answers. - Services for People with Disabilities.

Bernard J. Durkan

Question:

177 Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for Health and Children if his attention has been drawn to the budgetary cutbacks affecting services in St. Raphaels, Celbridge, County Kildare, and St. John of Gods, Islandbridge, Dublin 8; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [10636/02]

Responsibility for the provision of funding to agencies providing services to persons with an intellectual disability and those with autism in the Dublin region rests with the Eastern Regional Health Authority. My Department has therefore asked the chief executive officer of the authority to investigate the matter raised by the Deputy and reply to him directly.
