Vol. 551 No. 3

Written Answers. - Freedom of Information.

Jack Wall

Question:

239 Mr. Wall asked the Minister for Education and Science the reason a person (details supplied) in County Meath has not received the freedom of information reply that this person has sought on a number of occasions by letter and by telephone from his Department; and if he will make a statement regarding this important matter which is ongoing for two years. [10381/02]

I regret the delay in responding to this application under the provisions of the Freedom of Information Act, 1997. The delay arose because of the very large number of freedom of information requests relating to special education being received in my Department. A response to this requester's applications for records will issue to her within the next ten days.
