Vol. 552 No. 1

Written Answers. - Hospital Services.

Seymour Crawford

Question:

394 Mr. Crawford asked the Minister for Health and Children if his attention has been drawn to the serious situation (details supplied) in the North-Eastern Health Board area regarding orthopaedic treatment; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [11882/02]

Responsibility for the provision of hospital services, including orthopaedics, at Our Lady's Hospital Navan rests with the North-Eastern Health Board. My Department has, therefore asked the chief executive officer of the board to investigate the position in this case and to reply to the Deputy directly.
