Question:

173 Mr. Currie asked the Minister for Tourism, Sport and Recreation the names of all organisations in the Lucan, Clondalkin, Rathcoole, Saggart and Newcastle areas of County Dublin which applied for grant assistance under the national sports capital grants; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [12485/02]

Based on information obtained from the application forms the following organisations applied for funding under the 2002 Sports Capital Programme:

Clondalkin Area:

– Bluebell United F.C.

– Associated Bluebell Communities.

– South Dublin Leisure Services.

– CPM Sports & Social Club.

– South Dublin County Council – Corkagh Park.

– South Dublin County Council – Collinstown Park.

– Bluebell United AFC. Ltd.

– South Dublin Football League.

– MAAN, Corkagh Park.

– Clondalkin Youth Band.

Lucan Area:
– Irish Hammer Circle.
– Lucan Sports Association.
– South Dublin County Council – Willsbrook Park.
– South Dublin County Council – Hermitage Park.
– Cumann Na Sairsealaigh Leamhcain ( Lucan Sarsfields).
– Weston Hockey Club.
Rathcoole, Saggart & Newcastle Areas:
– Peamount United Football Club, Newcastle.
– St. Mary's GFC, Saggart.
– Rathcoole Boys Football Club.
