Question:309 Mr. Wall asked the Minister for Education and Science when home tuition will be provided for a person (details supplied) in County Kildare; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [13063/02]

I am pleased to advise the Deputy that my Department will approve ten hours home tuition for the person in question with effect from September 2002 until a suitable education placement is sourced.
A letter confirming this arrangement will issue from the special education section of my Department to the person's parent shortly.
