Vol. 553 No. 2

Written Answers. - Services for People with Disabilities.

Jimmy Deenihan

Question:

451 Mr. Deenihan asked the Minister for Health and Children if he will consider an application by the Nano Nagle special school, Listowel, County Kerry, for the provision of a physiotherapist, occupational therapist and psychologist; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [13002/02]

Responsibility for the provision of services to persons with an intellectual disability and those with autism in the Kerry region rests with the Southern Health Board. My Department has therefore asked the chief executive officer of the board to investigate the matter raised by the Deputy and reply to him directly.
