Vol. 553 No. 5

Written Answers. - Tax Rebates.

John Perry

Question:

182 Mr. Perry asked the Minister for Finance when a person (details supplied) in County Sligo will receive a refund of tax for 2001; the reason it has not been issued; the refund amount due to this person; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [14616/02]

I am informed by the Revenue Commissioners that the inspector of taxes has completed his review of the taxpayer's tax liability for the 2001 tax year and has established that no refund of tax is due.

A PAYE balancing statement together with a letter from the inspector issued to the taxpayer on 20 June.
