Question:224 Mr. Healy asked the Minister for Education and Science the position regarding the improvement works and extension of Gaelscoil Chluain Meala, County Tipperary. [14324/02]

Records indicate that my Department provided grant-aid towards remedial works to the roof of the building rented by Gaelscoil Cluain Meala and that these works were carried out last year.
The property management section of the Office of Public Works is acting on behalf of my Department in relation to site acquisitions generally and that office has been requested to report on the possibility of acquiring a site for Gaelscoil Chluain Meala. As soon as the report is received the matter will be given further consideration.
