223 Mr. Carey asked the Minister for Health and Children the reason an application by a person (details supplied) in Dublin 11 to become a foster parent has not been decided on seven months after the initial application was made. [14902/02]
Responsibility in relation to the matter referred to by the Deputy rests with the Northern Area Health Board. My Department has therefore asked the chief executive of the Eastern Region Health Authority to request the Northern Area Health Board to investigate the position and to reply to the Deputy directly.
