Vol. 554 No. 5

Request to move Adjournment of Dáil under Standing Order 31.

Before coming to the Order of Business I propose to deal with a number of notices under Standing Order 31 dealing with two different topics. I propose to deal with these topics separately and I will call on the Deputies in the order in which they submitted their notices to my office. In regard to the first topic I call on Deputy Crawford to state the matter. As Deputy Crawford is not in the House I will move on to the second matter. I have received notice from Deputy Ó Caoláin and I call on him to state the matter.

I seek leave to move the adjournment of the Dáil on the following specific and important matter of public interest: the crisis in the peace process and the threatened suspension of the institutions established under the Good Friday Agreement.

Having considered the matter fully I do not consider it to be in order in accordance with Standing Order 31.
