564 Mr. McHugh asked the Minister for Education and Science if his attention has been drawn to the fact that Tuam vocational school, County Galway, has not had a science laboratory for the past two years while awaiting approval from his Department to proceed with the provision of a new science room; and if he will give approval for the project to proceed. The refurbishment of the science laboratories at Tuam vocational school is at an advanced stage of architectural planning to the extent that my Department recently authorised County Galway VEC to proceed to stage 6 – tender action and report. This submission is currently awaited.
