980 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Health and Children if a person (details supplied) in County Roscommon will be called for a hip operation. [15801/02]

The provision of medical services in this instance is the responsibility of the Western Health Board. My Department has asked the chief executive officer of the board to investigate the position in relation to this case and reply to the Deputy directly.

981 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Health and Children the length of time a person (details supplied) in County Mayo has been on a waiting list for a vascular operation; and when this person will be called for surgery at Mayo General Hospital. [15820/02]
