John Perry

Question:

1026 Mr. Perry asked the Minister for Health and Children if a person (details supplied) in County Roscommon will be called for a hip operation in Sligo General Hospital in view of the fact that their condition has deteriorated; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [15970/02]

Responsibility for the provision of health services to the individual concerned in this case rests with the North Western Health Board. My Department has therefore asked the chief executive officer of the board to investigate the matter raised by the Deputy and to reply to him directly.
