277 Mr. G. Mitchell asked the Minister for Health and Children further to Parliamentary Question No. 224 of 26 June 2002, the reason the award of a rights commissioner has not to date been made; if a person (details supplied) in Dublin 12 is entitled to interest on the award made in March 2001; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Responsibility for this matter rests with the Eastern Regional Health Authority. My Department has therefore asked the chief executive officer of the Eastern Regional Health Authority to investigate the present position and to reply directly to the Deputy as a matter of urgency.
