298 Mr. McGuinness asked the Minister for Health and Children if an appointment will be expedited for a person (details supplied) in County Kilkenny; and if the age of the person and the fact that his leg injury is now affecting his back will be considered and an early appointment given. Minister for Health and Children (Mr. Martin):

The provision of services in the case of the person named from County Kilkenny is the responsibility of the South-Eastern Health Board. My Department has asked the chief executive officer of the board to investigate the position in relation to this case and to reply directly to the Deputy.
