391 Mr. P. McGrath asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government if an application for funding under the serviced land initiative has been received from Clonmellon, County Westmeath; if he will confirm the date that this application was received; if he will confirm that this scheme has been technically approved; and if he will indicate when final approval will be given for this project. Minister for the Environment and Local Government (Mr. Cullen):

An application from Westmeath County Council for funding to upgrade the existing waste water treatment plant in Clonmellon, County Westmeath under the serviced land initiative was received by my Department on 13 September 2002, and is under consideration.
