Vol. 555 No. 4

Written Answers. - Ambulance Service.

Brian O'Shea

Question:

111 Mr. O'Shea asked the Minister for Health and Children the proposals he has to provide a new ambulance station at Waterford Regional Hospital to replace the present totally unacceptable accommodation; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [18624/02]

Responsibility for the provision of ambulance services at Waterford Regional Hospital rests with the South-Eastern Health Board. My Department has therefore asked the chief executive officer of the board to investigate the position in this case and reply to the Deputy directly.
