123 Mr. P. McGrath asked the Minister for Health and Children the salary scale for the chief executive officers of each health board; and if any executive has additional responsibilities which carry additional remuneration. [18696/02]
The salary scales of chief executive officers in the health boards as at 1 October 2002 are as follows: Southern Health Board, Western Health Board, Northern Area Health Board, East Coast Area Health Board and South-Western Area Health Board: €121,513. Midland Health Board, Mid- Western Health Board, North-Eastern Health Board and North-Western Health Board: €112,042.
My Department is not aware of additional remuneration being paid to the chief executive officers referred to above reflecting additional duties or responsibilities.
