186 Mr. Penrose asked the Minister for Finance if a channel which is part of the Brosna catchment drainage scheme (details supplied) in County Westmeath is completed, as indicated in the reply to Parliamentary Question No. 105 on 27 June 2002; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Maintenance of the channel in question was completed earlier this year. The channel will require ongoing maintenance and this will be undertaken as required from time to time.
