Vol. 556 No. 3

Written Answers. - Hospital Services.

Willie Penrose

497 Mr. Penrose asked the Minister for Health and Children if an appointment for a person (details supplied) in County Westmeath in Crumlin Hospital can be expedited; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [19869/02]

Responsibility for the provision of health services to persons living in County Westmeath rests with the Midland Health Board. My Department has, therefore, asked the chief executive officer of the board to investigate the position in relation to this case and to reply to the Deputy directly.
