79 Ms McManus asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment the terms of reference of the study of the insurance industry to be undertaken jointly by her Department and the Competition Authority; when it is expected that the study will be completed; and if she will make a statement on the matter. Work has not yet commenced on the joint study. As a first step, a preliminary consultation document concerning the draft terms of reference has been published and submissions were invited from interested parties by 1 November. The document is available at www.entemp.ie/cr/InsuranceGen.htm and www.tca.ie.
