Vol. 556 No. 3

Written Answers. - Visa Applications.

Róisín Shortall

Question:

614 Ms Shortall asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform if a review of the decision to decline a visa application by a person (details supplied) in Israel has to date been made; if not, when a decision is expected; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [19919/02]

My Department's records indicate that the application in question was refused on 19 October 2001 and there is no record of an appeal being lodged in respect of the application. It is open to the applicant to make a fresh application with up to date supporting documentation and the matter will be considered anew.
