Richard Bruton
Question:659 Mr. R. Bruton asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government if his attention has been drawn to the difficulties which are arising in very high density areas of Dublin city as a result of the automatic planning exemption for extensions of 40 square metres, as a result of the fact that an extension of this size can be very intrusive where housing has very little garden space around it; and if he will consider modifying this exemption to require minimum building separations or open space requirements to apply in respect of this exemption.
