181 Ms Enright asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food the action he has taken to extend the disadvantaged areas classification to the entire BMW region in line with the commitment in the programme for Government; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [21536/02]
The Government, under An Agreed Pro gramme for Government, is committed to examining, in conjunction with the Commission, the possibility of extending the disadvantaged areas classification to the whole BMW region. The issue will be considered as part of the mid-term review of the CAP rural development plan.
