282 Mr. Dennehy asked the Minister for Education and Science if his Department has completed the purchase of land required for the construction of the proposed new national school in Ballygarvan, County Cork; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [21377/02]

My Department has requested the Property Management Section of the Office of Public Works – OPW – to explore the possibility of acquiring a site for Ballygarvan national school, County Cork.

The case will be given further consideration on receipt of a report from the Office of Public Works.
