304 Mr. Allen asked the Minister for Education and Science when sanction will be given to St. Catherine's school, Bishopstown Avenue, Model Farm Road, Cork, for the upgrading of the school; and the nature of the proposals he has received from St. Catherine's school for grant support. [21567/02]
Architectural planning for a building project at St. Catherine's school is at an advanced stage. Decisions on projects proceeding to tender and construction in 2003 will be taken in the light of the annual allocation for primary school buildings, taking into account the contractual commitments to be met on projects approved and the priority to be afforded to individual projects.
