101 Mr. Noonan asked the Minister for Finance the projected surplus in the social insurance account in 2002; the forecast surplus for 2003; the amount of transfers from the fund's surplus in 2002; and the projected value for 2003. [21333/02]

The projected surplus at end 2002 as set out in the published Revised Estimates for 2002 at page 205 is €1,287 million. The figure for 2003 will be incorporated in the Abridged Estimates for 2003 to be published later this week.
