Written Answers. - Visit of Nigerian Delegation.

Phil Hogan

Question:

84 Mr. Hogan asked the Minister for Finance the cost to the State of renovations to part of Farmleigh House arising from the accommodation and entertainment requirements of a group (details supplied) during its visit here during the summer; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [22076/02]

There were no renovation costs incurred at Farmleigh arising from the accommodation and entertainment requirements of the President of Nigeria and his delegation during his State visit in June.

As part of the ongoing upgrading of buildings on the estate, seven additional courtyard bedrooms were completed in June, prior to the visit of the Nigerian President. They were used by the delegation.
