Question:

440 Mr. Hogan asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform the names and locations of each member of the Garda Síochána that was killed in the course of duty since 1972; the details of any conviction in each case; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [23680/02]

I regret that I have been informed by the Garda authorities it has not been possible in the time available to obtain the information requested by the Deputy. I will contact the Deputy as soon as the details are available.
