183 Mr. J. Bruton asked the Minister for Health and Children the position regarding the provision of the ambulance service throughout Dublin and the surrounding areas regarding concerns raised in correspondence (details attached) that a parallel ambulance service is also provided by Dublin Fire Brigade; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I have noted the comments contained in the correspondence referred to by the Deputy and my Department is examining the matters raised. I will revert to the Deputy as soon as possible.
