102 Ms Lynch asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform the steps he intends to take to address the serious public concern regarding crime levels reflected in the survey undertaken by Research and Evaluation Services on behalf of the Garda, which showed that 44% of respondents felt less safe than in 1996 and a quarter less safe than a year ago; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
