266 Ms O. Mitchell asked the Minister for Education and Science if a copy of the medical report on a person (details supplied) in Dublin 16 commissioned by his Department will be made available to this person; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [24717/02]
Recent medical reports were submitted by the person referred to by the Deputy for the purpose of resuming his teaching duties. In the absence of an updated report from the independent medical examiner engaged by his employer, the school authority, these medical reports were considered inadequate by the chief medical officer. Both the person in question and his employer have been advised of this.
