429 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Community, Rural and Gaeltacht Affairs when a decision will be made on an Údarás na Gaeltachta grant application by a person (details supplied) in County Mayo; the reason a response in relation to this application has not been received; and the reason it is not being dealt with. The promoters of the business referred to by the Deputy are in ongoing discussions with Údarás na Gaeltachta regarding the possibility of developing their business. The current position is that additional information is awaited from the promoters so that the proposal can be evaluated further.
The assessment of such business proposals is, of course, solely a matter for Údarás na Gaeltachta.
