98 Mr. Costello asked the Minister for Community, Rural and Gaeltacht Affairs when he expects to publish the promised statement of strategy 2003-2005 for his Department; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [24452/02]
As previously indicated in my replies to Deputy O'Dowd – 23 October 2002, Priority Question No. 55 – and to Deputy Richard Bruton – 5 November 2002, Priority Question No. 721 – in line with the requirements of the Public Service Management Act, 1997, a draft strategy statement for my Department covering the period 2003-2005 is now being finalised for my consideration and approval. I anticipate that this new strategy statement will be published in the new year.
