Question:292 Mr. Wall asked the Minister for Arts, Sport and Tourism if the announcement of the recent Book of Estimates will have an effect on the funding of the Special Olympics from his Department; if so, his plans to rectify the matter; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [25062/02]
I propose to answer Questions Nos. 290 and 292 together.
The announcement of the recent Book of Estimates will have no effect on the funding of the Special Olympics World Summer Games by my Department. There has been no reduction in the level of commitments previously made.
