98 Mr. Stagg asked the Minister for Finance if a design team has been appointed in relation to the new Garda station for Leixlip, County Kildare; when planning is likely to be approved; the likely construction date for the new Garda station; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The Commissioners of Public Works are in the process of engaging a design team for the construction of a new Garda station at Leixlip. It is not possible to give precise dates for completion of planning and commencement of construction but I can assure the Deputy that the project will be advanced as speedily as possible.
