Question:

99 Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for Foreign Affairs if all information electronically stored in his Department is adequately protected against hackers; if there have been breaches in this security; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [25277/02]

The Department employs a range of security measures to counter potential risks to its information system. These measures are reviewed on an ongoing basis. There are no actual or suspected incidents of any information, electronically stored by the Department, being accessed or targeted by computer hackers.
