Question:

161 Mr. Timmins asked the Minister for Health and Children the number of staff in his office who are assigned to work on constituency matters; the staff who are employed for press or public relations matters; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [26027/02]

There are 4.5 civil servants assigned to work on constituency matters in my office. There is one press officer and a support staff of three civil servants who also cover all public relation queries for the whole of the Department.
