Question:

177 Mr. Timmins asked the Minister for Transport the number of staff in his office who are assigned to work on constituency matters; the staff who are employed for press or public relations matters; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [26028/02]

Minister for Transport (Mr. Brennan)

There are currently four full-time staff and one typist working on constituency matters in my office.

The Department has one press officer who works with an information office.
