225 Ms Shortall asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform if his attention has been drawn to widespread public concern regarding the availability of fireworks and the public health danger which these pose; and the steps which he intends to take to deal with this problem. [27001/02]

As I have stated in response to recent parliamentary questions, explosives legislation is currently under review in my Department. The review will extend to the law and policy on the regulation and control of fireworks.
