Vol. 559 No. 6

Written Answers. - Departmental Properties.

Bernard Allen

Question:

256 Mr. Allen asked the Minister for Social and Family Affairs the State properties, both lands and buildings, in the ownership of her Department; the present use of same in each case; and if they are available for disposal. [26918/02]

The Department does not own any land or buildings. All buildings used by the Department of Social and Family Affairs are either owned or leased by the Office of Public Works, with the exception of the headquarters building, Áras Mhic Dhiarmada, which is owned by the Social Insurance Fund and partially leased to Bus Éireann. It is not available for disposal.
