48 Mr. Deasy asked the Minister for Education and Science the position regarding the provision of a replacement school (details supplied) in County Waterford; if this will be included in the 2003 building programme; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [26597/02]
Architectural planning for the provision of improved accommodation at the school in question is at an early stage. My Department is currently examining the initial architectural proposals for the proposed improvement works at the school. The school authorities will be kept advised of developments. I will be announcing my Department's expenditure proposals for primary buildings in January. In the meantime, it is not possible to say when individual projects will progress to tender and construction.
