Question:

113 Ms Burton asked the Minister for Finance the fees paid and other costs incurred in the report of the Independent Estimates Review Committee including the daily rate paid to the three members of the committee. [26952/02]

The total costs incurred amount to €42,111.52.

The total fees payable to the members of the Independent Estimates Review Committee are €37,750, plus VAT of €2,887.50.

In addition, the following other costs were incurred in relation to the work of the committee:

Catering

€871.28

Stationery supplies

€512.74

Courier services

€90.00

The daily fee paid to each member was €500.
Some additional costs were incurred centrally by the Department's corporate services division on stationery items, courier services and printing. It is not possible to separately identify these costs.
